GURUKULA VIDYA KENDRA SCHOOL(KA417) is affiliated to the council for the Indian School certificate examination (CISCE), New Delhi. The school follows the curriculum prescribed by the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE). It has been designed to provide an examination in a course of general education in accordance with the recommendations of the new education policy 1986(India) through the medium of English. CISCE offers more balanced syllabus compared to the other boards in India. The focus is equally distributed on language, arts and science. ICSE lays more emphasis on lab work. Internal assessments are vital and practical tests are aggregated with the overall scores.
